Provided part-time technical support and software development expertise to enhance resource management and streamline manufacturing processes of aviation hoses. Focused on modernizing workflows and implementing more advanced tracking systems. Supporting development and scaling of more efficient CNC engraving of metal identification tags for hoses. In addition, desiging and deployed a database to replace manual systems, improving data accuracy and accessibility.
As part of the Smart Enough Factory program, collaborating with Victorian defence manufacturers, modernizing operations and implementing Industry 4.0 digital solutions to boost productivity. Key contributions included stakeholder training (HP Aviation, Zip Diagnostics), developing a HUD and barcode tracking system for real-time monitoring at Zip Diagnostics, and streamlining identification tag creation at HP Aviation for accuracy. This involved observing diverse industry practices to recommend actionable improvements.
